Yes, sure you can by using the CDT - Cool Digital Thermostat with the Large Adaptor Plate (FAS-0002) and a little bit of technical know-how you can replace elstat temperature controllers such as ems55advanced, ems100nexo. You can also replace the smaller ems25 and ems3000 models.

A reach-in refrigerator is a smaller, stand-alone unit that allows you to easily access food and beverages from the front. A walk-in cooler is a larger unit that you can walk into, making it easier to store large quantities of food and beverages.

The lifespan of a commercial refrigeration unit can vary depending on factors such as usage and maintenance. However, on average, a well-maintained unit can last up to 15 years. The CDT - Cool Digital Thermostat can help protect key components on your cooler whilst still cooler your product to the optimum temperature.

There can be a few reasons why the temperature inside your cooler does not match the temperature displayed on your Cool Digital Thermostat (CDT):

  1. Sensor Placement:
The thermostat’s sensor may be positioned in a slightly different location than where you're measuring the temperature, which can cause minor variations in readings.
  2. External Factors:
Door openings, airflow inside the cooler, or the presence of warmer items can temporarily affect temperature distribution.
  3. Calibration Issues:
The thermostat might need slight calibration to align the display with the actual cooler temperature.

How to Fix:
You can use the calibration parameter on the CDT to adjust the displayed temperature. Here’s how:

  1. Access Calibration parameter:
Using the display enter the password and navigate to the C1 (APP Temp Calibration) parameter.
  2. Adjust the Temperature:
Once in the calibration menu, you can manually increase or decrease and offset the value to match the actual temperature inside your cooler. Allow a few minutes for the changes to take effect.

If the problem persists after calibration, you may need to check the sensor placement or consider contacting support for further assistance.
